It is truly a blessing to work along side this awesome team serving Pillager and the Brainerd Lakes community. It is exciting to work within our family business and put the last 25 years of business experience to the test.  I have held various management positions in retail, agricultural sales, business development and manufacturing sales.  I hold a Bachelors Degree in Business Managment from the University of Sioux Falls along with training in Lean Manufacturing and other vaious business disciplines.

My passion is to help others reach their potential in whatever they do and to find a greater meaning in life.  I know God is preparing me daily for the next opportunity to introduce others to his love and amazing saving grace.

Leisure time activities I enjoy are watching sports, boating on our lake and most importantly spending time my family.  To walk along side my four boys as they grow into men is such a blessing along with supporting my amazing wife.

In her free time she enjoy's fishing, hunting, camping and horse back riding.  Currently she takes part in a Axe throwing league at Roundhouse during the spring and fall.  She loves spending time with her dog Apollo who she adopted in 2018.

I love seeing pets go from being sick back to being happy and healthy.  I enjoy client education and helping them find the best way to care for their pet.  I am blessed that I get to work with an amazing group of people who are so supportive and caring.

Prior to working at Northern Hope Veterinary Care, I worked as a dog groomer and was certified back in 2017. I was a part of 4H & FFA throughout highschool from 2005 to 2016. I have and still do, take in personal training horses with issues and then reohome them to their forever home.

I love the atmosphere at Northern Hope.  It makes me feel like I'm at home and a part of the family.  I love that they're a Christian based clinic and I do believe that God led me here to them and help serve clients and their pets in need.  Being able to see a pet leave the clinic better than when they walked in the door is such an amazing feeling.  We want to love every pet as if they are our own.

Outside of Nothern Hope my favorite thing to do is ride horses.  I used to do a lot of outside training, however, now I just have personal training horses of my own.  I love to travel and go camping all over with my horses. On top of my horses, I love helping others as it brings joy to my life and volunteering in youth development programs and living my life as a example and role model to youth I am blessed to come across in my life.

Victoria (Tori) Whiddon, Veterinary Assistant

I love our staff and the way we are like a small family.  I also love getting to meet and help our paitents and their families every day.  The most interesting part about working at Nothern Hope Veterinary Care is getting to see not only traditional western medicine, but also holistic and integrated ways of treating our patient and watching how we are able to dramatically change/improve their quality of life.

When I am not working I enjoy riding & working with horses, be it at home with my own horses or voluneering.  I enjoy attending Church & hanging out with close freinds and family.  I am also going to college in the fall to begin working towards becoming a mixed animal Veterinarian.

Madison Meech, Veterinary Assistant

Prior to working at Northern Hope I worked on the road as a flagger on a construction company for two summers.  This past summer i worked as a trail guide at Outback Ranch in Pillager and also as a Veterinary Assistant at another Veterinary Clinic.

What I like most about working at Northern Hope is the atmosphere, it is welcoming and everyone is willing to teach and help.  It almost feels like a second family.  I also love to be around the clients, patiens and helping provide the care they need.  Its a great feeling to watch a sick patient walk out of the clinic healthier than when they came in.

Whem i'm not at the clinic I enjoy working and riding my two horses.  You can also catch me rifle/bow hunting along with goose hunting in the fall.  I also like to go fishing in the winter and summer.  However, my favorite winter activity is snowmobiling.  Otherwise I love to spend time with friends and family.
